The South of France is a mecca for cycling, and because of this there are large numbers of cardboard sheeting and bike boxes scrapped and thrown out by bike shops in the region. This is a huge shame because this is a precious resource for visiting cyclists.
To take advantage of this, and to offer a much-needed service to travelling cyclists, you can now purchase your pre-loved cardboard Bike Box (and Boxes) here in Nice.
Please be aware we are as written above we are repurposing these Bike Boxes 🙂
Our Boxes are robust, taped cardboard, with additional soft foam and paper protection supplied with the boxes for your frames and wheels.
– Please note ; These boxes are from bike shops, and therefore have some nicks and dings. We recover them, upycle and tape them ready for you.

1. BIKE BOXES
• Bike Box (robust cardboard dimensions 130cm x 25cm x 80cm depending on availability) 100€
Simple Bike box supplied with foam, tape and everything necessary to pack your bike yourself.
– From feedback, cyclists generally prefer to pack as much of their kit including helmets, shoes, bags, sleeping bags and day bags into the box, so we have reduced the amount of foam and paper than inprevious years.
Payment online or cash on the day also available.

Bike box and packing service at our atelier, Nice Port. We pack and close your bike and Bike box ready for taking on your flight or train.
